TE CoolSplice Connectors are designed to connect pairs of discrete wires or twin cord cables. The insulation displacement, free hanging connectors accept either 18 AWG (0.82mm square) or 20-22 AWG (0.52mm squared - 0.33mm squared) stranded or solid wire in unsealed and sealed, color coded configurations.
The CoolSplice Connectors eliminate the need to pre-strip the insulation from the wire conductors and provides a visual controlled termination. The push connect buttons provide a more ergonomic wire termination.
Possible applications are outdoor architectural lighting, commercial display cabinets lighting, commercial refrigeration lighting, residential and office furniture lighting or security/alarm systems.
