The EMC products from Trelleborg Cable Entry Solutions are specially designed cable entry plates and cable glands that shield against electromagnetic interference while providing reliable protection against dust, water, and environmental influences (IP65 and IP67).
With their EMC solutions, Trelleborg offers effective protection against electromagnetic interference. This is made possible by a particularly low specific resistance as well as a shielding effect that is superior to that of conventional thermoplastic elastomers and common elastomer materials:
- Material: thermoplastic elastomer
- Surface resistivity (IEC 60093): 10⁻¹⁰ Ω
- Volume resistivity (IEC 60093): 10⁻¹⁰ Ω·cm
- Shielding effectiveness (ASTM D4935)
- 1.5 GHz – 13 dB
- 1 GHz – 6 dB
- 500 MHz – 5 dB - Color: black
- Operating temperature of the material (unloaded): -40 °C...+100 °C
