Dear Valued Partner,
TE Connectivity companies, and affiliates (“TE”) wish to inform you that TE has been closely monitoring the restrictions and requirements directly linked to subcomponents sourced from Micro Commercial Components, Corp. 130 W. Cochran St. Unit B Simi Valley, CA 93065, USA (“MCC”), who was 100 % owned by Yangzhou Yangjie Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (“YYET”). As YYET has been placed on the EU sanctions list with effect as of 23rd April 2026, TE needs to ensure that no funds or economic resources are made available to the listed company or for its benefit (directly or indirectly).
MCC informed that they are in the process of changing their parent company, but decoupling from YYET´s supply chain may take longer and will not be immediately possible.
TE is therefore no longer in the position to use or procure products including YYET´s or MCC´s subcomponents.
With reference to the forecast that we have to date in our systems, we therefore see a direct impact on the part numbers identified in the list linked below.
As the above situation and its developments are beyond our reasonable expectation and control, TE must respectfully advise that these circumstances (i) may render TE’s performance practically and/or commercially impossible, and (ii) will constitute a Force Majeure event under applicable agreements between TE and its customers and their respective affiliates.
As such, TE will not accept any responsibility (including, but not exclusively, the responsibility for financial costs) for any resulting line-down or other supply chain-related charges such as premium freight.
Additionally, it is important to note that these restrictions to receive alternative subcomponents may also lead to unexpected delays in the delivery of affected part numbers. TE will make every effort to communicate any changes to delivery timelines as soon as possible, but customers should be prepared for potential disruptions in supply. TE is actively monitoring as well as continuing to explore options to minimize the impact to your supply chain and where feasible is actively looking for available alternatives, however, please be aware that increased costs are likely and as such we reserve the right to update product pricing accordingly. Please be prepared for requests to discuss changes in subcomponents in that regard, swift decisions will be mutually beneficial.
The full list of affected part numbers can be accessed.
If you have further questions regarding your specific order, please contact TE sales representative.
We thank you in advance for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Emmanuel Dieppedalle
