AMP+ Charging inlets

TE Connectivity offers the AMP+ series charging sockets for hybrid and electric vehicles. They enable faster and safer charging of vehicles. The AMP+ charging inlets include Combined Charging System (CCS) inputs for Type 1 and Type 2 as well as AC and DC charging inputs for Type 1, Type 2 and Type GB.

The Type 1 variant has been specially developed for the North American and Japanese markets. This version is now available in CSS with several options in addition to the conventional AC version. These cans meet the required standards and specifications for the automotive industry.

Charging sockets for commercial and industrial vehicles

 

Designed specifically for industrial and commercial vehicles, HIVONEX charging sockets ensure high standards and safety in hybrid or electric vehicle connectivity. These modular connectors allow adaptations to individual requirements and offer cable outputs on the left or right side for maximum design flexibility. With an impressive capacity of 10,000 mating cycles and a charging capacity of 250 VAC (at 32 A) and 1,000 VDC (at 200 A), they meet stringent requirements. The charging sockets feature an integrated actuator for end-position sensing, PT1000 temperature sensors for improved temperature monitoring, and optional protective covers to protect against dust and moisture, ensuring safety. The LED charge indicator clearly informs the end user of the vehicle's charge status, and the available kits and wire-end cable sets (1.5 m or 3 m lengths) provide additional relief for the supply chain and production.
