HARTING's cable glands are available as round connectors or the popular Han series, among others. With Han, rear mounting is also possible, saving time and space.
HARTING supplies a number of connectors with the Han® F+B. The housing, seals and cable are robust and protect the internal modules from water jets and aggressive cleaning agents. The cables must also be invariant to thermal, chemical and alternative physical stresses to ensure trouble-free operation.
HARTING data cables are especially designed for the robust requirements in industrial environments. In interaction with the HARTING connectors, these HARTING data cables support Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet ,10 Gbit Ethernet as well as Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). For this purpose, they are fully shielded and designed for bandwidths of 100 MHz (category 5/5e) up to 1000 MHz (category 7A). The structure and architecture of the cabling are designed and tailored to the HARTING connectors in such a way that a simple, fast and secure installation on site is guaranteed. The portfolio is rounded off by hybrid cable solutions that combine both data transmission and power supply in one cabling and are therefore perfectly compatible for plug & play solutions.
Harting's M8 and M12 Ethernet cabling solutions can be used in the entire industrial environment. Meanwhile, IP protection, plug-in security, robustness, vibration resistance and EMC safety play a specific role. Their D-coded system cables are designed for transmission rates of up to 100 Mbit/s, and we offer X-coded system cables for apps with transmission rates of up to 10 Gbit/s. Our Ethernet cabling solutions are tested and certified.
The HARTING RJ45 Ethernet system cables support all commonly used Ethernet transmission speeds according to IEEE 802.3, including Fast Ethernet 100 Mbit/s, Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gbit/s Ethernet for future apps. To synchronously supply devices with power, their system cables also support Power over Ethernet (PoE - up to 15.4 W according to IEEE 802.3af and PoE+ up to 25.5 W according to IEEE 802.3a). HARTING RJ45 Ethernet system cables are designed, tested and certified for industrial and industry-related applications. IP protection, plug-in safety, robustness, vibration resistance and EMC safety play a special role in all of this.
The standardized mating face of the HARTING ix Industrial® according to IEC 61076-3-124 gives users planning security and is available in two codings, type A for Ethernet data transmission as well as type B for signal transmission and serial BUS systems. Depending on the cable type used, the type A system cables can be used in almost all areas of automation technology, mechanical engineering, wind energy and traffic engineering. Due to their robust construction, the shock and vibration resistance according to the EN 50155 railroad specification is fulfilled.
Following the miniaturization trend, HARTING is expanding its Slim Design M12 connector series to include HARAX® IDC Quick Connect variants, a slim, field-terminable solution for automation technology. This enables quick and easy wiring on site. The compact and robust housing ensures high integration into the respective power unit and withstands a torque of up to 1.5 Nm. At the same time, it has IP65/67 protection and is designed for harsh ambient temperatures of -40 - +85°C. The integrated 360° shielding concept of the Slim Design series provides good protection against EMC influences and ensures interference-free transmission.
