Bulgin is expanding its portfolio of robust data connectors with the new 4000 Series Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) – a future-proof solution for industrial networks that combines high performance with a compact design.
The 4000 Series is specifically designed for 10BASE-T1L applications and meets the requirements of IEC 63171-6. Thanks to Single Pair Ethernet technology, it enables the transmission of data and power over just one pair of wires – ideal for space-critical applications and the increasing miniaturization in industrial automation, building management systems, and sensor networks.
A special feature is the secure bayonet lock, which ensures a fast and reliable connection even under harsh conditions. The connectors are protected in accordance with IP66 and IP68 (when plugged in) and can withstand even extreme environmental conditions (EN60068-2-52 Test Kb Salt Mist (Cylic) Marine Severity Level 1).
The series includes:
• Flex patch cables in various lengths (1–5 m) and cross-sections (22 AWG, 26 AWG)
• Single- and double-sided cable assemblies
• Front and rear panel mounting options
• PVC or PUR jacket materials for different applications
The 4000 Series Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is fully compatible with existing Bulgin Buccaneer systems and offers a tamper-proof design for increased security. This makes it ideal for Industry 4.0 applications where reliability, modularity, and easy installation are required.
