We are pleased to introduce TE Connectivity's powerful RT Choke series. The new common-mode chokes have been specially developed for modern high-current applications and offer efficient EMC filtering in compact, easy-to-install designs.
Powerful, reliable, versatile
The new RT chokes now complement the two rated currents of 25 A and 85 A, making them ideal for demanding power electronics in industry and energy infrastructure. The RT series now covers rated currents from 6 A to 85 A without any gaps. Thanks to the availability of variants in horizontal and vertical orientations, the components can be optimally integrated into different device layouts and enable space-saving designs.
Users can choose between ferrite and nanocrystalline core materials. This provides inductances of up to 17 mH (at 25 A) – ideal for reducing conducted interference in single- and three-phase systems.
Designed for modern applications
The series meets the requirements of IEC 60938 and is designed for applications from DC to 400 Hz. With up to 300 VAC or 450 VDC, high temperature resistance, and a UL-certified insulation system, RT chokes offer high operational safety and long-term reliability – even under demanding environmental conditions.
