TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity, hosted its annual Global Distribution Summit in March in San Francisco, California, where the company recognized their top performing distribution partners. Börsig was named TE’s 2014 EMEA Regional Distributor of the Year for excellence in sales performance and localized programs.
TE officials Joan Wainwright, president, Channel and Customer Experience, and Kevin Rock, president, Industrial Solutions, presented the award to Thomas Engler, Börsig’s export manager, who commented, “With pride we accept the award from TE, which demonstrates that we are doing things right in our market with a global leader.” Börsig, a family-run business, relies on partnerships and lasting relationships for long-term success. Engler added, “Because it is important for Börsig to provide excellent customer care both in and outside of Germany, we consistently strive to understand and address the needs of all of our customers.”
Based in Neckarsulm, Germany, Börsig has been selling TE products since 1973. “TE’s strong commitment to distribution and Börsig’s close partnership with TE supports our position as a specialist distributor with a focus on electromechanical connection solutions,” said Stefan Börsig, managing director and proprietor. “TE’s broad product line is significant to our rapidly growing market, and we look forward to continuing to bring TE’s innovative solutions to customers,” added Börsig.
TE’s Global Distribution Summit provides TE and their distribution partners with the opportunity to discuss new opportunities and identify initiatives to drive improved collaboration, supporting Börsig’s strategy to develop and grow close relationships with their suppliers.
