Börsig GmbH presents the VOLINSU EVFX heat-shrink tubing from TE Connectivity in the high-voltage cable protection sector – a powerful, efficient, and particularly robust solution for use in electric and hybrid vehicles.
The EVFX tubing has been specially developed to securely attach corrugated pipes to high-voltage cables and reliably replace conventional insulating tape. The halogen-free, mechanically highly resilient material ensures a long service life even in demanding areas of application.

- Material: Thermally stabilized, modified polyolefin, cross-linked by irradiation.
- Shrink ratio: 3:1 – enables optimal adaptation to different cable and corrugated pipe sizes
Temperatures:
-→ Minimum shrink temperature: 90°C
-→ Complete shrinkage at: 150°C
-→ Continuous operating temperature: –40°C to +125°C
- Flame retardant: Prevents the spread of fire
- Color: Orange according to RAL2003, as a clear identifier for high-voltage applications
